For me this blog is simply a place to put down stuff and ideas that spin in and out of my brain on daily basis. I have books and books full of ideas, and i think by sharing them some of you might find a few helpful tips and tricks to make your life easier.
Some ideas revolve around decorating and design..my intrigue for these things comes from really really wanting a place to call home where i can paint walls, pound holes in walls, etc. etc. Someday i will have a house where i can do all that.
Some ideas revolve around cooking, new recipes and kitchen tips. I think i have found a new interest in cooking? I've always enjoyed it, but now having someone to cook for, it's all that more exciting!
Some ideas revolve around new ways to use old things. I think this obsession comes from my childhood, i have always been "resourceful" if you will, as my mom would put it "Hanna, what the hell are you using now?" You will soon find out exactly what i mean by all of this. I get some pleasure if i succeed in giving new life to a garbage destined object.
Some ideas revolve around teaching art, something i am new at, thoroughly enjoying, and trying to balance the "teaching" part and the "art" part.
Hopefully some things here will be interesting to read. It is odd for me to start a blog because in most situations i am admirably against most technological advancements. But if i die with books and books full of things, who will benefit from it? So by sharing it online, i can at least maybe believe someone has been benefitted. If not i will never know, and that's okay too.
